Zubias is a well-known Australian brand in the beauty industry with several locations around Perth. Our salon provides all beauty services related to brow and lash. We work with your facial structure and industry trends to customise, contour, and shape your natural eyebrows for women and men.
What is your position at Zubias Beauty and how big is your team?
I am the owner of Zubias Beauty Salon at Ocean Keys and our team consists of seven highly professional and skilled members. All our staff are up to date with the latest beauty techniques. Our experts precisely craft your brows and remove unwanted hair with little to no irritation using just cotton thread.
What are the most popular services right now?
Our most popular service, The Brow Shape, is intended for those with an established eyebrow-care regimen. The service includes a brief consultation, shaping, and finishing, and takes 5-10 minutes to complete. With a high customer repeat rate, we are clearly leaders in the threading services in our area. Nowadays Henna brow is in trend, which makes achieving fuller brows easy.
What is the most unusual or funny request you have had from a customer?
The most unusual request we've ever received from any of our customers has to be the one where a lady requested us to co-operate in a prank on her husband where we were supposed to draw some awful eyebrows which could almost look real to her husband.
How long have you been in the beauty industry and what inspired you to pursue this career?
I was born into a strong, business-centric family in India. Always passionate about both business and culture, I dreamed about following my father’s footsteps and becoming an entrepreneur one day. After my marriage, I shifted to Australia, I got the motivation from my husband to start my own salon while I got wonderful opportunity from Zubias Franchise. Gaurang and I started the salon in 2014 and as of now I have been in the beauty industry for more than six wonderful years. The thing that inspired me to work in the industry was the innate desire I had of creating beauty and happiness in people's lives. With a diverse experience of working in India and Australia my skills and services are an amalgamation of eastern and western beauty standards for which we can proudly offer our customers the beauty that is best of both worlds.
What is the best part about your job?
The best part about my job is to read and analyse the customer reviews and continuously improve the standard of my service and customer satisfaction.
When you are not at the salon, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I always love to spend time with my family and watch beauty related videos, read beauty related articles online to stay competitive in the game in my spare time.
